Biography

I received my PhD from Durham in 2014. Since 2015, I have been based in Classics at Glasgow, initially as a University Teacher and then as Editorial Assistant for the ERC-funded project, Fragments of the Republican Roman Orators (FRRO).

Research and Teaching Interests

My doctoral research explored magic in Augustan poetry, particularly love-elegy. I am currently in the early stages of a project which aims to investigate trauma narratives in Latin poetry, with a focus on civil war.
